Affordable Housing
The Housing Opportunities for People Everywhere (HOPE VI) program is a tool for revitalizing severely distressed public housing. The site of the Hope VI project is the old Dayton View Neighborhood.

Construction has been completed on the Senior Center and on 50 rental properties. The senior Center and the rentals are 100% occupied. Land planning has been completed. New infrastructure chages have been made -- a new street has been put through to the new development. The new housing development is called Salem Crossing.
